BMW Maintenance Schedule

That means your car will take longer to turn over in the mornings, and longer to warm up.  If you don’t change the oil as you should, then after a time even the filter will become clogged.  All that can be avoided if you stick to the regular schedule for oil changes. • Avoid overheating: Preventing overheating can also be prevented if you do some regular checks, such as checking the coolant level in the radiator.  The coolant helps the car run cooler, if levels run too low, then it is likely that the engine will overheat.  Make certain to check the coolant regularly.  If there is a problem with any other part of the cooling system, then this can be spotted during routine servicing.
